Last month we introduced you to the brand new Clarisonic Mia Smart, but you may be wondering, just how you use the device and how to get the most out of it. Well, you’re in the right place as we’re about to explain everything Clarisonic to you below.
How to Get Started With The Clarisonic Mia Smart
When you first receive your brand new device, you must ensure you charge the device for 18 hours for the first use, in order for it to work properly.
To get started with your personalised routines, download the Clarisonic app and start the skincare quiz. The Clarisonic app can then set your skincare goals, sync routines, track progress, enables you to earn rewards and more.
Cleansing Brush Heads
The Mia Smart is compatible with all Clarisonic cleansing brush heads. Simply choose the one suitable for your skin type, whether that be Anti-Blemish or Radiance for example and apply your chosen cleanser to the skin or the brush head, ensuring skin or the brush are wet. Turn on, place the brush on your face and select your desired programme. Move the brush in small circular motions whilst following the T-timer prompts.
Expert tip: Don’t use too much pressure on the skin as this can impede the motion and reduce effectiveness.
Firming Brush Head
Re-create that carefree spa experience at home with the Clarisonic Firming Massage Head. The rejuvenating massage boosts the absorption of skincare products too, making it ideal to use with your favourite moisturiser or night cream. With daily use, skin feels firmer and the face and neck appear lifted.
When connected to your Mia Smart, the device will recognise the Firming Head and automatically switch to the Smart Mode. You can then follow the routine via the app, simply apply your favourite serum to your face and neck and start the relaxing treatment.
For best results, use after cleansing with the Revitalizing Brush Head to complete your skincare regimen.
We recommend replacing the Firming Brush Head after 6 months.
Sonic Awakening Eye Massager
Perfect for awakening tired eyes or tackling eye bags, the Clarisonic Sonic Eye Awakening Massager is the go-to if your eye area is in need of some extra TLC. The head has been tested by ophthalmologists and dermatologists. The head automatically connects to the app that works with the Mia Smart device whilst the rounded aluminum tips and flexible titled head make for a comfortable, cooling massage.
Attach the head to your the Mia Smart, apply your favourite eye cream or serum and turn on the device. Begin the eye massage routine by slowly gliding the device in an outward motion. Repeat on the other eye. For best results, use after cleansing with the Revitalizing Brush Head and, if using, the Firming Brush Head.
Expert tip: Place the head in the fridge for the ultimate cooling effect.
We recommend replacing the Sonic Awakening Eye Massager after 6 months.
