This wavelength has more recently been shown in scientific evidence to be highly effective for skin renewal and wrinkle reduction, penetrating up to 10mm into the hypodermis to stimulate collagen production deep below the surface of the skin.
Power alone doesn’t determine the effectiveness of LED masks. In fact, excessive power could harm the skin, while lower power over a longer period often delivers the best results. To determine the quality and effectiveness of an LED mask, it’s important to also look at the wavelength precision, LED light coverage and session length.
Despite having the same power density (or irradiance) as the original mask (30 mw/cm²) and requiring just 10 minutes of use, the Series 2 LED Mask is designed to offer unmatched wavelength precision and coverage for optimal results. Step 1: Perform a sensitivity test (see additional information).
Step 2: Wash and dry your skin completely. Apply a few drops of CurrentBody Skin Green Tea Serum or Hydrogel Sheet Masks to enhance results.
Step 3: Attach and adjust the double strap around your head.
Step 4: Turn on your device. Sit back and relax for your 10-minute session.
Step 5: Remove the device and wipe it dry.

My red light mask keeps my skin glowing - I use it right after putting on all water based morning skincare per Penn Smith's recommendation- using Photozyme DNA Repair enzymes serum, Vitamin C, peptides etc and the red light has definitely boosted my results. I feel it helps those active ingredients absorb better, and the DNA Repair serum is actually light activated, so really beneficial to use red light right after applying.

Its about 6 weeks that I have been using my LED mask so haven't noticed a huge difference yet but I think I can see a slight difference.

I've been using the CurrentBody LED mask for a few weeks now and I'm really positively surprised by the effect. I mainly suffered from *******, redness and sagging skin, and that's where I notice a clear difference.
What strikes me most is that my skin has become calmer. The redness around my nose and cheeks visibly decreases after use, and my skin feels less irritated. If I skip a day, I even notice that the redness comes back a little — that actually says a lot about how well it works for me.
In addition, my skin feels firmer and looks fresher. Fine lines seem a little softer and my skin has more glow. The mask is also very easy to use: 10 minutes at a time, right at home, and it's comfortable.
What I also like is that it is not aggressive to the skin. I have sensitive skin and react quickly to products, but I have had no irritation with this mask.
For me, this is really a worthwhile investment, especially if you suffer from redness or sensitive skin and are looking for something that works in a gentle way.
I would definitely recommend it!
