How to choose the best blue light therapy mask?

When it comes to blue light therapy, more power isn't always better. Optimal results depend on a precise balance of:

      • Wavelength accuracy: reaching the exact skin depth needed to achieve results.
      • Coverage consistency: Ensuring light reaches the full area evenly.
      • Power: Balanced over time for effective sessions without irritating the skin.
      • LED quality: Emitting the correct wavelength at the same strength, every time.

Our devices are designed with all of these factors in mind. CurrentBody is the first brand to test every bulb in every device through Veritace®, guaranteeing that each device delivers the clinical-grade wavelengths proven to work.

*Results proven in our independent clinical studies.

      Your questions, answered

Our in-house beauty tech experts answer your most commonly asked questions.

Yes. We recommend using the provided eye inserts during your blue light sessions.

Our device contains both red and blue LEDs, making the light look a pink/purple colour as the lights mix.

This device is suitable for use on skin with mild to moderate blemishes.

Blue LED light can cause temporary pigmentation on darker skin tones. Fitzpatrick Skin Type V and above (typically described as brown to dark brown and darker) may be more prone to developing pigmentation after blue light exposure. We recommend discontinuing use if pigmentation occurs. Red light and near-infrared (NIR) light are suitable for all skin tones and can improve the appearance of pigmentation, while helping to reduce redness and calm irritation.

The CurrentBody Skin LED Blue Light Mask uses two clinically proven wavelengths (red 633nm and blue 415nm) to target blemish-causing bacteria and reduce irritation.

We expect you to see results within 6 weeks of using the mask. However, everyones’ skin is different and will react to the LED light therapy in different ways. After 6 weeks of consistent use, we recommend taking a break from the device for a couple of weeks before continuing with use.

The CurrentBody Skin LED Blue Light Mask has been FDA-cleared and is safe for use on the skin.

Before use, wash and dry your face. Make sure you have conducted a light sensitivity test if it is your first time using the device.

We created Veritace®, our unique end-to-end production & testing system, to guarantee that only the most precise LEDs power our technology.

Behind the quality of every Veritace® device is the highest level of testing to ensure maximum results for your skin. Learn more here

A good addition to my skin care routine

I have been using this for the past 2 months and purchased it to help clear my skin. I have noticed a difference in my skin improving but as I have also improved my diet, exercise and changed my skin care, it is hard to know whether the mask has helped. Regardless, it is a nice addition to my routine. I would say the charge does not hold very well (compared to another LED mask I have) which is why i have put it as 4 stars

        Has cleared up my ****

After trying antibiotics & ****** for more than 6 months without resolution of the ****, this mask totally it cleared up. Can’t believe how effective it was, I did continue ****** in parallel but it was the mask that made the difference. Have now stopped ****** and use the mask around 3 times a week. If I take a break from the mask I do find that I start getting spots again (but just normal spots, not the horrendous cystic **** I was getting prior).

        THIS WORKS!

I always thought LED masks were a hoax and reviews were only from people getting paid, but after spending years trying every product/remedy under the sun I was left with minimal options, including an LED mask. After researching multiple masks, I made the choice on this one. And my ***, I don’t know why I didn’t do this sooner. By 6 weeks (I’d even say by 3 weeks) my skins redness had reduced, scars were fading and **** was disappearing! Now 6+ weeks on, my skin is completely clear with very minimal breakouts (only round the time of the month!) so I’m hoping this review helps someone in need, if you need a sign to buy this mask - this is it!

        Excellent for my wife's *******

My wife has been using the mask for a while now and it's definitely helping to control her *******. Also, she no longer has to take antibiotics, which is fantastic.
