Step 1: Wear clothing and socks to cover your skin.
Step 2: Lay the HigherDOSE Sauna Blanket on a flat, heat-resistant surface.
Step 3: Use a towel as a barrier between your body and the blanket before powering on using the controller.
Step 4: Leave for 10 minutes to preheat.
Step 5: Slip into the sauna blanket and zip up. Relax for 30 to 45 minutes.
Expert Advice: Take an ice-cold shower to cleanse and cool off after your session for an extra health boost.
We recommend wearing long sleeves, long pants and socks while in the blanket, as well as lining the blanket with a thick towel. This will absorb any sweat released during your session and provide comfort while lying on top of the heat source. Or you can use the HigherDOSE Sauna Blanket Insert.
The blanket ranges from 68 to 158˚F. However, there are various ways to measure the temperature, such as interior surface and inside air. It’s fully adjustable with a hand-held controller attached to the blanket and programmed for 60 minutes but can be shut off at any time.
The Sauna Blankets offer far infrared rays, whereas the Infrared Sauna offers full spectrum rays.
Far infrared rays may help deliver a deep detoxifying sweat and allow your body to push out those environmental toxins, increasing your heart rate to the pace of a light jog and leaving you with healthy soft glowing skin.
High Temperature and Water-Resistant Polyurethane (PU).
We suggest keeping a dry towel handy to absorb any sweat left behind after each session. We recommend then using a non-toxic disinfectant wipe or spray to sanitise the blanket. Leave the blanket open to dry and cool down completely before folding and packing away.
After the blanket has cooled down completely, close the blanket to meet the Velcro. Make sure the blanket is flat and smooth. Fold the blanket in half lengthwise from left to right, then fold the blanket in thirds from top to bottom. This fold will allow the blanket to fit back into its original box.
We recommend storing the blanket in a cool area, away from any heat and moisture.
Aside from the differences in colourways, the HigherDOSE V4 Infrared Sauna Blanket has a zip closure functionality compared to the HigherDOSE V3 Infrared Sauna Blanket that opens and closes with velcro.
