The new kid on the block

Although it’s not quite autumn, this week certainly saw the turning over of a new leaf as we welcomed our newest member of the CB team, Marketing Coordinator, Holly. We’ll hand over to her as she gives you behind the scenes access to her first week on the new job and insights to her favourite products so far.

The first few days of a new job are always daunting, but as soon as I walked in the Current Body door I was welcomed by the friendly team and was made to feel really at home.

I’d packed close to one million different items of stationary (just in case), so my new desk is now a sea of pink pencils, notepads, and even a mini wipeboard – yes, I am that sad.

The first thing that struck me was the amazing Clarisonic collection – who wouldn’t be impressed by that?! I wanted to immediately rip the boxes open and get playing with them, and believe me by the end of the week I had trialled out more than I’d like to admit.

One of my first tasks was to write about the huge array of products we sell, and that meant really getting to know them inside out. Needless to say I learnt a lot very quickly, and now have definite Christmas presents in mind for my mum, my gran and even my boyfriend. Oh, and a little something for myself too…

I’ve officially fallen in love with the T3 Featherweight Luxe 2i hair dryer, and now I NEED to have one. I have a quite thick, long hair, so drying it can take absolutely ages, and I’m fairly sure it takes me longer to get ready than anyone I know. But, I’ve discovered that this hair dryer can dry your hair 75% quicker than a standard model, which let’s face it is pretty darn life changing.

So, what’s the best thing about working here so far? Definitely the products – it makes such a huge difference working with products that I have a real passion for, and that I genuinely want to know more about.

And the worst? The products again… they’re all so interesting that I feel I need to buy them all – making for a very unhappy bank account!
