As New York Fashion Week comes to a close, we’re looking back at the moments that captured hearts and minds, from rebellious outbursts to envy-inducing attire on the FROW. This is the #CBLoves NYFW Roundup…
The Alexander Wang collection will have you searching the back of your wardrobe for leftover accessories from that misguided goth phases in high school. The procession of misfits walked in sheer fabrics and demure tweed skirts cut to racy lengths. Slogans like ‘Strict’ and ‘Girl’ were daubed across thighs and clothing and there was even knitwear sporting a rather risque marijuana print. We like.

From the runway to the front row, rebellious behaviour was in the air. Blake Lively was seen flaunting rules in the front row at the Michael Kors show by leaving her legs crossed, which is a strict no-no as this ruins the shot for photographers. Although we can completely forgive her decision to not keep her legs planted on the ground as she took her mum along for company – d’awww!
New levels of coat-envy
The inimitable Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of Vogue, was seen literally everywhere wearing everything you’ve ever wanted. Or at least, that’s how it felt. Sporting multiple animal prints, leather and fur, the leading lady of fashion left us with a few new life goals – must own a show-stopping coat in 2016!

Gaga for Gaga
Planting herself firmly in place as the star of New York Fashion Week 2016, Lady Gaga joined Kendal Jenner in the Marc Jacobs show, which traditionally marks the end of New York Fashion Week. Their goth-inspired looks included thick eye makeup, finger waves, feathers and fur –And she was kind enough to Instagram the experience so we can all pretend we were totally there!
