Customer Questions & Answers
How easily can I apply the pads...are they fiddly and do they stick on well? How long do they last?
25th Jul, 2009 by Michael from Dorset
The pads are large, easy to use and have a good life if well looked after. They will last around 50 treatments before they lose adhesiveness. CurrentBody.com offer help if you have any other issues either on the phone, by email or in person at our medical centre.

Can i get the pads applied to my legs on the correct muscle groups to benefit my cycling?
26th Jul, 2009 by Michael from Dorset
The most important benefit of the Compex Mi Sport is that you can apply it to the correct parts of the muscle due to the MI (Muscle Intelligence) sensor. This allows you to find exactly the correct pad placement - something no other stimulator does

Which one should I get? Compex Mi Sport or Mi Fitness?
Please can you tell me the differences between the Fitness and Sport models? Not sure which one to get. I cycle, but not on a tremendous scale. I prefer an overall fitness level with the ability to build muscle/tone/firm. Also, I want either one that can relieve pain in the upper neck and back areas. So far, I am leaning towards the Compex Mi-Fitness, but am not sure if the Mi-Sport offers ALL of the Mi-fitness functions Plus more??

Hi Kevin, We would recommend the Mi-Fitness. For sports specific fitness, toning, endurance and muscle strength the Mi-Fitness is most relevant. It is also the more suitable for someone looking at an overall fitness regime (hence the name) It will also help with pain relief that you mention. The Mi-Sport is mainly aimed at elite sportsmen and women so the Fitness will provide you with all your requirements and it's slightly cheaper. Please let me know if you have any more questions, Thanks Scott

I do triathlons and I would like to improve my training with Compex. Which one should I buy out of the Compex Energy, Performance and Mi Sport? What is the difference between them?
14th Aug, 2009 by Marcos from Brazil
Basic programs for complementary training with EMS and active recovery are available with the all 3 devices: Compex Energy, Compex Performance and Compex MI Sport.
The Compex Energy has no appropriate programs for treatment of injuries (except very basic TENS), the Compex Performance and Compex MI Sport are much more adapted for training, recovery and injuries.
The Compex MI Sport has the widest program choice, and has the option of working with the MI Action mode. This offers the possibility to combine EMS and voluntary work-out, with a more functional training and greater efficacy for well trained athletes.

Can you tell me the differences between the Runner, Fitness and Sport models
Hi, Can you tell me the differences between the Runner, Fitness and Sport models. I am making the transition from running 10K and Half Marathons to full Marathons at club level. I would like boost my endurance, core stability (I have slight imbalance in my running) and speed my recovery. Ideally I would like the device aid recovery after Alpine and Tour skiing. At my level am I going to benefit from the additional features in the sport and fitness models? Many thanks

I would recommend the Compex Mi Sport over the Fitness and the Runner for you for the following reasons: Given what you're doing, you need something which can deal with the whole spectrum including: Building muscle strength, Building endurance, Recovery post run & Rehabilitation from niggly injuries. The Compex Mi Sport is the only one which has all of these programmes. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

im 8 wks post acl and double cartilage operation
I have complete muscle wastage after my double op in december and because i had a double cartilage tear repaired at the same time as my ACL, i have been prohibited from really pushing on with my exercises, will this machine help both injuries

The answer is yes…. if you want a stimulator that is less specific to knee rehab then any of the Compex range from the Performance upwards (i.e. Performance, Mi Fitness and Mi Sport) will offer more functionality. If you just want a device for quad wastage then kneehab is the one. If you want more advice then feel free to call our freephone number, or we can call you if you send a request through.
