TENS Programmes

Pain Gate Control: This masks the pain, providing you with immediate pain relief. This is most appropriate if you are experiencing severe, acute pain.

Endorphin Release

TENS stimulates the release of endorphins, the body's own natural pain relieving hormones. Endorphins remain circulating in the body after treatment. This makes it most appropriate if you are experiencing dull aching, chronic back pain.

Lumbar Support

The Baxolve XP belt supports the spinal and abdominal muscles and restricts painful movement. This improves posture and positional awareness.

Baxolve XP Optional Accessories

With the option of an additional set of leads and pads you can use the Baxolve XP TENS unit on other areas of your body including upper back, shoulders, hips and knees wherever pain relief is required.

About TENS

TENS is a clinically proven, drug free method of pain relief that provides immediate and long-term pain relief. It is extremely safe and has been widely used in the medical community for over thirty years.

TENS Programmes

Pain Gate Control

TENS programmes one and two will provide you with a comfortable tingling sensation. This masks the pain, providing you with immediate pain relief. This is most appropriate if you are experiencing severe, acute pain.

Endorphin Release

TENS programmes three and four use endorphin release, the bodies own natural pain relieving hormones. You will experience a comfortable tapping sensation. Thirty to forty minutes of this type of stimulation is required for endorphins to be released. Endorphins remain circulating in the body for up to ten hours after treatment has ceased providing residual pain relief. This makes it most appropriate if you are experiencing dull aching, chronic back pain.

About Lumbar Support

Baxolve XP also uses lumbar support to ease lower back pain, helping to prevent its onset. The Baxolve XP belt supports the spinal and abdominal muscles and restricts painful movement. This improves posture and positional awareness. The belt can be tightened to provide lumbar support or applied comfortably for TENS therapy.

I use Baxolve almost constantly for immediate relief.

" I was given Baxolve by the Chief Medical Officer of the Equestrian Federation for treatment of recurring lower back pain. During the show jumping season, which runs from March to October I use Baxolve almost constantly and it gives me immediate and continuous relief. I had used TENS machines before, but I find Baxolve much more user friendly and easy to manoeuvre. As I am constantly tested for drugs I cannot take medication on an ongoing basis so Baxolve is ideal. "

Baxolve has been specifically designed for lower back pain, however with the addition of the optional leads and pads accessories the Baxolve unit can be used to relieve pain in other parts of the body. To take advantage of this added feature you need to connect the blue leads to the bottom of the control unit, connect the 4 pads to the end of the leads and place the pad over the site of pain.
