Why It Works
When held between your thumb and index finger, the Pip measures your EDA (Electrodermal Activity), which is your skins ability to conduct an electrical current. This is affected by your sweat gland activity, which changes when your stress levels rise or fall. This information is called Biofeedback, and is extremely important to managing stress. This feedback helps you gain greater awareness of physiological symptoms of stress, with a goal of being able to manipulate them at will. The apps (which can be downloaded via the Google Play or Apple App store) provide real time feedback to help you discover which stress management techniques work for you.
