These units are nothing like the EMS systems you can buy on the shopping channels. The quality and more importantly, level of functionality is second to none.
We have many personal trainers / coaches / physios who use these units on a daily basis to compliment their business practices. The biggest singular difference between these units and others is their ease of use. There is no need to tweek phase, frequency, intensity, duration etc. Just choose the programme and body part and go. Simple.
The Compex Muscle Intelligence (Compex Mi) system first scans your muscles and then sets relative power settings to match the muscle reaction/density. With the new Compex Muscle Intelligence system the user has the option of voluntarily contracting the muscle in time with the electronically stimulated impulse. This helps to build muscle co-ordination as well as strengthening and toning the muscle. With a few sessions each week, your stimulator will help you to reach your goals.
Easy to install, easy to use, it is simple and safe like every Compex.
The Compex EMS training book supplied provides all the information need to get the most from your new Compex EMS (Electronic Muscle Stimulator).

I am 50 years and compete competitively in orienteering (rough cross country running while map reading). Just before Christmas I had a knee arthroscopy with abrasive chondroplasty. Recovery is progressing well and I am now on a treatmill (30s run / 90s walk). What product would you recommend for rehabilitation and longer term performance?
by Robert Sweatman from HavantHello, I've been comparing the Mi Fitness and the Mi Sport and it seems that the Mi Sport does not handle "toning" function. Am I correct to think that the Mi Sport is not adapted for the "Aesthetic" side and does not have the function of the Mi Fitness from the Fitness and Body Sculpt categories? Thanks
by AlexI have complete muscle wastage after my double op in december and because i had a double cartilage tear repaired at the same time as my ACL, i have been prohibited from really pushing on with my exercises, will this machine help both injuries
by Keith Ridgard from waterford, irelandHi, Can you tell me the differences between the Runner, Fitness and Sport models. I am making the transition from running 10K and Half Marathons to full Marathons at club level. I would like boost my endurance, core stability (I have slight imbalance in my running) and speed my recovery. Ideally I would like the device aid recovery after Alpine and Tour skiing. At my level am I going to benefit from the additional features in the sport and fitness models? Many thanks
by Matthew Rice from Milton KeynesPlease can you tell me the differences between the Fitness and Sport models? Not sure which one to get. I cycle, but not on a tremendous scale. I prefer an overall fitness level with the ability to build muscle/tone/firm. Also, I want either one that can relieve pain in the upper neck and back areas. So far, I am leaning towards the Compex Mi-Fitness, but am not sure if the Mi-Sport offers ALL of the Mi-fitness functions Plus more??
