TriPollar POSE was not designed to be used in the facial area due to the deep penetration of the fat layers. It is not advisable to reduce fat on certain areas of your body such as your face. If you were to use the POSE™ on your face you would reduce the fat layer and would reduce the ‘mass’ under the skin that keeps it radiant and glowing. Fat on the face serves a very important purpose of plumping up the skin and making it look vibrant. People actually are getting fat injected into their face to smooth the fine lines and wrinkles that appear from the natural ageing process in which the fat density decreases. RF has been safely used in Medicine for over 30 years for surgery, orthopedic and other procedures. RF has also been used for many years as the traditional method of hair removal (needle epilation) and has been applied to the aesthetic market in the last few years. The AAD (American academy of dermatology) recommends the use of RF for dermatological aesthetic procedures.

Generally stroke patients have very weak quadriceps as well as hamstrings. If a patient has both and they don’t have over activity / spasticity in the hamstrings then Kneehab would be of use. Clinical research in the pre and post surgery area for orthopaedic patients has shown that even though Kneehab is used for quadriceps strengthening there is generally an increase in hamstring strength as the patient co-contracts quadriceps and hamstrings when using Kneehab.

In a clinical study, seventeen females with pregnancy stretch marks underwent six weekly TriPollar treatments. Results showed that at one week after the final (sixth) treatment 38.2% and 11.8% of the females were assessed to have 25-50% and 51-75% improvement in the appearance of their stretch marks, respectively. The long term effect of the treatment was confirmed during the 6 weeks follow up which showed that a higher percentage of the patients were rated to have improvement of their stretch marks, including 26.5% and 5.9% showing 51-75% and >75% improvement, respectively. None of the participants were rated as having no improvement in their clinical appearance of stretch marks. Patient satisfaction was also documented:

- 65% of females reported that they were very satisfied with the treatment results
- 23% were satisfied with the treatment results
- 12% were slightly satisfied with the treatment results

With regards to the areas of the body, the Tripollar Pose is designed for use on areas with stubborn fat deposits such as the tummy, thighs, buttocks, upper arms and hips.

If the implant is made of solid silicone, the Stop can be used on the chin area. However it is recommended to consult with your aesthetic physician since implants may include other compounds which might be contraindicated.

It should be no problem to use the no!no! Hair Removal device during pregnancy; nevertheless as an American company they mention in their user manual as a precaution to consult your physician or doctor before using it.

The answer is yes…. if you want a stimulator that is less specific to knee rehab then any of the Compex range from the Performance upwards (i.e. Performance, Mi Fitness and Mi Sport) will offer more functionality.
